Welcome to the Young Author Project

Our novel in progress, titled The Art of Giving A Crap, follows the parallel stories of two middle schoolers living two VERY different lives. Lucy has a very comfortable life with no worries at all, while Asher is all but surviving in a chaotic household rife with abuse and neglect.  Can they find a common ground, or are they just too different?  Will Asher find hope amid his circumstance?  You never know what someone is going through, even the person sitting right next to you.

Guided by our crazy ELA teacher who always pushes us to be our best, we have been meeting at the public library and on Zoom to write, collaborate, and write an amazing story.  Our goal is to publish our book on IngramSpark, market it, and even record the audiobook version!

All your donations and support helps us A LOT! Thank you so much!
